About this file

This document is Addendum #2 to RFP 24-012 for the AMI Water Meter Replacement project issued by the City of Commerce, Georgia. The addendum addresses questions submitted by potential offerors, including the lack of a bid bond requirement, the existing meter brands of Sensus and Neptune, the target project start date of approximately October 2024, and the City's current billing software. It also confirms the acceptable GPS accuracy, that the meter replacement will be a like-for-like exchange, the current meter reading methods, and the percentage of meters located in concrete or asphalt. The addendum further adds details on the payment and performance bond requirements, mobilization, and staging.

The pricing response form has been revised, and the summary of work has been updated to include details on mobilization, bonding, and staging. Specifically, the contractor will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds upon award, and mobilization will include all work to set up operations and stage equipment, materials, and staff locally. Payment for these activities will be made separately from the meter replacement work.
