The contract is for armored car services to collect and securely transport Food Services cafeteria cash receipts and Treasury Department campus activity funds from district locations to Wells Fargo Bank on a daily basis. The term of the contract shall be one year with two optional successive one-year extensions, not to exceed three years total. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for July 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM CST via Microsoft Teams. The proposal may be utilized for local, state, federal, and grant-funded programs in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 200 and USDA and TDA requirements.

An "interested party" is defined as a person with a controlling interest in the business entity or one who actively participates in facilitating or negotiating the contract terms, including brokers, intermediaries, advisers, or attorneys. DISD must acknowledge receipt of the filed Form 1295 to the Texas Ethics Commission within 30 days after contract execution, after which the Texas Ethics Commission will post the form to its website within seven business days.
