This is a specifications document for the Wysox Community Park Boat Launch Project, a public works project in Wysox Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. The project encompasses comprehensive site work including demolition of the existing concrete boat launch, installation of a new cast-in-place concrete boat launch structure, site preparation and grading, construction of temporary erosion and sediment control measures, installation of a coffer dam bypass system, asphalt paving of existing gravel and asphalt areas, installation of wood fencing and parking equipment, seeding and vegetation establishment, and installation of signage and parking space markings. Sealed bids for the project are due electronically via the PennBid Program by July 31, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with bid opening at approximately 3:30 p.m. the same day at Woodland Design Associates, Inc., in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. The project must be completed within 120 days of the notice to proceed. The Landscape Architect is Jayson M. Wood, RLA, of Woodland Design Associates, Inc.

The specifications detail extensive technical requirements across multiple construction disciplines, including site work, demolition, earthwork, drainage, concrete construction, seeding, and equipment installation, all conforming to applicable Pennsylvania Department of Transportation standards and industry specifications. The Contractor is responsible for all engineering, surveying, field testing, inspection costs, permits, and certification of work completion. A one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship is required upon project acceptance. The project includes performance bonding requirements for erosion and sedimentation control measures equal to 100 percent of control work costs. The Owner, Wysox Township, intends to occupy the project upon substantial completion, and the Contractor must coordinate work to minimize conflicts and facilitate continued Owner operations throughout construction.
