About this file
This is a General Permit Acknowledgment Notification issued by the Bradford County Conservation District to Wysox Township for the Wysox Park Boat Launch project. The permit, designated as Pennsylvania State Programmatic General Permit-6 (PASPGP-6), authorizes work under the Dam Safety and Encroachments Act and provides U.S. Army Corps of Engineers authorization pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. The letter, dated June 10, 2026, confirms receipt of the General Permit registration and notifies Wysox Township that it may proceed with the project after making required notifications and securing all necessary approvals. The related sealed bid solicitation indicates bids will be received electronically via PennBid until 3:00 pm on Friday, July 31, 2026, with bid opening at Woodland Design Associates, Inc. in Honesdale, Pennsylvania at approximately 3:30 pm the same day. The project scope includes mobilization, temporary erosion and sediment control installation, demolition and site preparation, installation of a coffer dam bypass system, cast-in-place concrete boat launch construction, asphalt paving of drive and parking areas, and grass median installation, among other associated work items.
The permit acknowledgment requires the permit holder to maintain the letter, acknowledged registration form, GP registration package, applicable GP terms and conditions, required federal authorizations, and the Erosion and Sediment Control plan on site during construction. The authorization may be subject to modification, suspension, or revocation if information in the application or plans is found to be in error. Any appeals must be filed with the Environmental Hearing Board within 30 days of receipt of notice. The Bradford County Conservation District Program Manager, W. Bradley W. Cummings, serves as the contact for questions regarding the registration, with reference to Application No. GP020800226-001, and copies of the permit were distributed to the DEP Northcentral Regional Office and Jayson M. Wood of Woodland Design Associates, Inc., the project design firm.
