The project scope includes comprehensive building repairs and upgrades consisting of exterior window, storefront, and door replacement; framed roof installation; electrical system updates including devices, wiring, and panels from the electrical MDP; ceiling tile and flooring covering replacement; metal soffit, rain gutters, and downspout installation; standing metal seam roof application; latrine and shower upgrades; HVAC system replacement; and EFIS exterior wall finish application over the entire building envelope. Additionally, the project requires updating the floor plan to meet user needs and current code requirements. The construction cost estimate for this project is $2,400,000.00. Eligibility is restricted to contractors who have been prequalified under the Stage I Prequalification process and maintain current status on the DFCM Prequalified Contractors list as of the solicitation date.
The solicitation structure limits competition to prequalified contractors only, ensuring bidders meet established qualification standards prior to proposal submission. Specific response dates, due dates, site visit schedules, and bidder conference details should be referenced within the complete solicitation documents. Award and contract commencement timelines, along with any performance periods or renewal provisions, are subject to DFCM's standard contracting procedures and project scheduling requirements.
