About this file
The document is a Questions and Answers file for a U.S. Coast Guard solicitation for a standby generator package at Tillamook Bay Station. Key technical details include requirements for a 150KW diesel-powered generator with a 600-amp automatic transfer switch and a 48-hour fuel tank, with specific clarifications about equipment specifications. Notable Q&A points reveal the generator is for backup power expected to run indefinitely during storm outages, requires UL2200 certification, will use a double-wall UL-142 fuel tank, and will be installed indoors with an indoor automatic transfer switch. The generator has a 22-week lead time, which is not considered problematic by the contracting team, and does not require remote monitoring capabilities. The solicitation seeks a lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote, with submission due by 05/29/25 at 12pm PST to the Contract Officer Patrick Stewart, with quotes to be submitted via email with a complete cost breakdown on SF1449 form.
