The Q&A clarifies technical specifications for a 150KW diesel-powered standbyGenerator, including requirements that the unit be UL2200 certified, have a double-wall UL-142 fuel tank, and function as a backup power source capable of running indefinitely during utility outages. Key technical details include an indoor automatic transfer switch (ATS), neutral switch configuration, and no requirement for remote monitoring.
The solicitation seeks a complete standby power package delivered to USCG Station Tillamook Bay, comprising a 150KW 208V 3-phase outdoor dieselGenerator, 600-amp automatic bus transfer switch, and a 48-hour fuel tank with level indicator. Quotes are due by 09/29/25 at 12pm PST, with the government intending to award to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote.
