About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for a U.S. Coast Guard solicitation for a standby generator package at Tillamook Bay Station. The Q&A clarifies technical details about the generator installation, including confirmation that delivery is only required (not installation), and specifying the automatic transfer switch (ATS) will be indoor with a neutral switch. Additional technical clarifications include potential transition types (open or delayed) and current utility side configurations.
The related solicitation seeks a 150KW diesel-powered generator with a 600-amp automatic bus transfer switch and a 48-hour fuel tank, to be delivered to USCG Station Tillamook Bay in Garibaldi, Oregon. Quotes are due by 05/29/25 at 12pm PST, with all submissions required to be on SF1449 and include a cost breakdown. The government intends to award to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote, with vendors required to be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) prior to award.
