AMENDMENT-0002, Solicitation 36C78624B0041
Natchez National Cemetery Gravesite Expansion, Demolish Maintenance Facility, and Repair Roads

Contractor Questions & GOV Responses
1. Can the A/E specify what material or product (basis of design) the 6” Poly Edge Slot Drain is on Detail 4 Sheet CG501? The basis of design of the poly edge slot drain is Multi-Flow by Varicore Technologies.
2. Sheet CD101 calls out a quantity of 5 granite section markers to be removed and relocated but Sheet CS105 calls out for a quantity of 7 granite section markers to be relocated. There are 2 granite section markers not accounted for in CD101 to be relocated. Please clarify if I am missing something. There was (1) existing section marker to be relocated on CD101 that was not marked, and (1) section marker mislabeled on CS105 as ‘Relocated’ that should in fact be ‘New’. Please find the attached mark-ups of CD101 and CS105 for clarification.
3. Sheet CI511: Are the handrails to be painted or powder coated? Per Specification Section 32 31 19
ORNAMENTAL METAL FENCES, paragraph 2.5, handrails to have the following finish:
A. Aluminum Paint finish:
1. Baked-Enamel or Powder-Coat Finish: Polyester powder coating, 2 mils minimum thickness. Comply with manufacturer's coating process.
a. Color: Black.
4. The specifications refer to Spec Section 09 06 00 Schedule for Finishes but there is no such spec section provided. Residual references to Section 09 06 00 SCHEDULE FOR FINISHES are in error. Please clarify what specific element(s) require finish information and it will be provided.
