No, this solicitation calls for the installation of a new fully functional designed built automated irrigation system to be installed
6. Verification of existing point of connection to include
a. Type (pump, municipal meter), location & size (with flow rate & static PSI)
Connection will be to City water system, there is no pump or well.
i. If pump, existing specs (model #, flow rate, PSI rating).
b. Water window is a concern with new system, we need to know about the meter or pump and what it is covering now to determine if adding onto the existing meter/pump is a possibility.
There is no pump, old system is connected to city water system.
c. Scalable overall proposed limits of project (cad/pdf file), to include turf replacement / irrigation replacement limits.
Drawings attached.
7. Overall scope of demo & replacement of irrigation.
8. Is irrigation design required at time of bid? If, so a bid date extension will likely be needed to meet requirements.
The design build is required at time of bid. The RFQ date is officially extended to 15
March 2019 at 08 AM (Eastern Standard Local Time) as stated in this Amendment.
9. What is the level of expectation on the demolition of the old system? Complete system removal or removal of valves and heads and abandon piping in place?
Demolistion of complete old irrigation system.
10. To accurately bid the demolition we need a site map showing the layout of the irrigation lines. Can you please provide the as-builts for the existing system?
11. What is the mainline size and material of the existing system to be demolished?
N/A.
12. To accurately design and price a new system we need CAD files for the area to be irrigated. At a minimum these files need to show existing infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, etc.) and the utility corridors where irrigation lines may be placed.
13. What is the water source for the irrigation system?
City water system.
14. What is the available GPM and pressure of the water source?
Contractor must design system to make sure entire area will be covered.
15. Is there an existing irrigation booster pump and if so does it need to be demolished and replaced?
No.
16. What is the available water window, days and time?
To be determined when system is installed.

18. Is the new main line feeding the expansion sections to remain?
Solicitation states that old system(lines) will be demolished and new system will be installed.
19. How many zones of the expansion are to remain in place?

20. Are these zones going to continual to run off stand-alone controller in place now?
This is a build design system.
21. Please confirm we are installing Center Computer System? If so where is it planned to be located?
Maintenance Building.

That is for contractor and cemetery/COR to discuss.
23. Since this is an irrigation design/build, the due of 6th March is very tough window for the cost takeoff. Can this date be extended?
The RFQ date is officially extended to 15 March 2019 at 08 AM (Eastern Standard Local
Time) as stated in this Amendment.
24. According to the Solicitation, page 12 of 66, section 3.11
