About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a federal contract opportunity involving infrastructure upgrades at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. The solicitation (36C77625R0055_1) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside competitive procurement for constructing EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades. The project involves comprehensive technology infrastructure work, including network cabling upgrades (CAT6a), installation of new CCTV cameras, access control system modifications, and telecommunications room (TR) equipment installations.
Key technical details include replacing existing network cabling, installing new cameras in telecom rooms, maintaining current access control and fire alarm systems, and performing work across multiple shifts (Monday-Sunday). The project requires extensive cabling work, with contractors providing 10% additional CAT6a cables and data rough-in, using Siemens-provided licensing for access control and video management systems. Work will be performed at the Lebanon VA campus, with specific considerations for potential underground conditions in a limestone karst area. The contracting agency is the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center in Austin, with the work to be completed using a phased, multi-shift approach accommodating hospital operational needs.
