About this file
This document is an amendment to a Request for Information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for the expansion of a Mental Health Clinic at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center.
The amendment provides responses to three questions received regarding the project. The questions cover concrete patching methods, the need for shotcrete, and the requirements for temporary shoring. The government responses clarify that two concrete patching methods are acceptable, no shotcrete is required, and temporary shoring is not needed unless conditions vary from the provided record documents. The related federal contract opportunity is a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside solicitation for the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center expansion project. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, project management, materials, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the work as specified in the drawings and documents.
