Alarm Silenced. Red LED on lamp test switch lights when alarm horn is deactivated by alarm silence switch.
Alarm Silence Switch. Lamp test switch quiets the alarm during servicing. The horn will reactivate upon additional faults.
ATS Fault. Red LED lights when ATS fails to transfer.
Battery Charger Fail. LED lights if battery charger malfunctions. Requires battery charger with alarm contact.
Battery Voltage Hi/Lo. LED flashes if battery or charging voltage drops below preset level. LED lights steady if battery voltage exceeds preset level.
Common Fault. LED lights when a single or multiple common faults occur.
Communication Status. Green LED lights indicating annunciator communications functional. Red LED indicates communication fault.
EPS Supplying Load. LED lights when the Emergency Power System (EPS) generator set is supplying the load (APM402, APM603, APM802, and Decision-Makerr 550, 3000, 3500, 6000, and 8000 controllers) or when transfer switch is in the emergency position (Decision-Makerr 3+ controller).

Low Cranking Voltage. LED lights if battery voltage drops below preset level during engine cranking.
Low Fuel (Level or Pressure). LED lights if fuel level in tank approaches empty with diesel models or fuel pressure is low on gas models. Requires customer-supplied switch.
Low Oil Pressure. Red LED lights if generator set shuts down because of insufficient oil pressure. Yellow LED lights if engine oil pressure approaches shutdown range. Requires warning sender on some models.
Not In Auto. LED lights when the generator set controller is not set to automatic mode.
Overcrank. LED lights and cranking stops if engine does not start in either continuous cranking or cyclic cranking modes.
Overspeed. LED lights if generator set shuts down because of overspeed condition.
System Ready. Green LED lights when generator set master switch is in AUTO position and the system senses no faults.
Red LED indicates system fault.
User-Defined Digital Inputs #1- #5. Monitors five digital auxiliary inputs (can be configured as warnings or shutdowns).
User-defined digital inputs are selected via the RSA III master for local or remote (generator set or ATS). The user-defined digital input can be assigned via PC using SiteTecht setup software.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Original Issue Date: 4/18 Model: Generator Sets Market: Industrial and Residential/Commercial Subject: Emergency Stop Kit GM103279-KP1 and GM103743
Introduction The emergency stop (E-stop) kit allows immediate shutdown of the generator set from a remote location.
The E-stop assembly includes a shroud that allows the installation of a lockout/ tagout device to lock the switch in the stop position. See Figure 1. Mount the emergency stop switch(es) in accordance with NEC requirements. For generator sets rated 15 kWor higher, the emergency stop kit must be mounted outside of the generator set enclosure.
Wiring can be routed through conduit or through the cable entry fitting. If conduit is not used, round multiconductor cable with 5--12 mm (0.2--0.5 in.) outer diameter is required for the cable entry fitting.
When the emergency stop switch is activated, contacts in the switch open to shut down the generator set.
Connectasmanyemergencystopswitchesas required.
Connect multiple switches in series to ensure that activating any one of the stop switches will stop the generator set.
GM103743
1. Threaded conduit entry knockout, 1/2 in. NPT
2. Cable entry fitting for 5--12 mm (0.2--0.5 in.) round cable
3. Two openings in the shroud for customer-provided lockout/ tagout device
4. Stop button
Figure 1 Emergency Stop Switch GM103743-1
Tools and Equipment Required The following items are needed:
D Crescent wrench, 24 mm, or adjustable wrench with minimum 1 inch span
D Crimp tool and wire stripper D Drill with #21 bit D Flat-blade screwdriver D Label (if mounted in a remote location) D Lock for E-stop switch lockout/ tagout D Conduit and threaded fitting, 1/2 in. NPT (if used) D Wire, #18--22 AWG. If conduit is not used, round multiconductor cable with stranded #18--22 AWG conductors and 5--12 mm (0.2--0.5 in.) outer diameter is required.
If the kit will be installed on a concrete or masonry surface, appropriate tools and customer-provided hardware will be required.
Read all safety precautions and the entire installation procedure before starting the installation. Perform the steps in the order shown.
