About this file
This document is a Technical Questions and Answers (Q&A) amendment (Amendment 0005) addressing a contractor's inquiry about drawings in the contract deliverables. The question sought clarification on whether as-built drawings should be included in the final deliverables, given that drawing-related line items were removed from the Price/Cost Schedule while references to drawings remained in the Performance Scope of Work. The government's response confirms that references to drawings were erroneously left in the contract scope after tasks were modified. Contractors are now instructed to document all information in the contract report as described in the Performance Work Statement Scope, with specific guidance to include all information about Expansion Joints in the report.

Technical Questions and Answers – Amendment 0005
Question:
Please clarify the intent of including drawings with the delivery package. In the Performance Scope of Work, the contractor is required to provide drawings and a report, however, in the Price/Cost Schedule, the Items listed in the original RFQ for drawings of Medium, High Pressure, and Drawings for Low Pressure piping have been removed. Are as built drawings to be included in the final deliverables.
Answer:
The references to drawings were erroneously left in the contract scope after it was modified to remove various tasks, including system drawings. Any documentation shall be made in the contract report as described in the Performance Work Statement Scope. For Expansion Joints please include all information on the aforementioned report.
See attached Performance Work Statement (PSW) that has been edited.
