Will VA change the statement to read that either heat OR chemical strengthening is allowed, as that is congruent with the FDA and customary commercial practice?
Answer: “: Performance Work Statement (PWS) paragraph 3.1 is DELETED in its entirety and is replaced with the following paragraph:

1. Please clarify the purpose of the two price schedule documents. It may be in the best interest of all parties to use only the price worksheet.
Answer: Both documents, the Price Schedule and the Price Worksheet, must be completed and submitted with proposals. Failure to complete either document may result in a proposal being rejected and removed from consideration for contract award. The Price Worksheet is a required proposal submittal that will be used to evaluate proposals and will not be retained in the executed contract. The Price Schedule provides the awarded contract pricing for each contract line item and will be part of the executed contract. The unit prices offered for each contract line item MUST MATCH EXACTLY in both the Price Schedule and the Price Worksheet; failure to do so may result in the proposal being rejected and removed from consideration for contract award.
Proposals are due: June 22, 2020, 12:00 PM PDT.
