About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for Solicitation 36C26125R0092 for demolishing Building One-hundred Jones Hall at a VA facility. The RFI contains seven technical and procedural questions from a potential contractor, with detailed responses from the VA. Key details include confirmation of weed control fabric requirements (8oz Non-Woven Polypropylene filter Fabric), clarification on irrigation controller specifications, and verification of hazardous materials abatement for the building. The VA confirms the presence of asbestos and references specific specification sections for abatement. Additional responses address utility shutoff access, work hour and noise restrictions related to nearby medical operations, and a firm stance against alternative site visit dates for subcontractors.
