The purpose of this amendment is to correct discrepencies in the verbiage and site visit day and time.
1. Additional description details and a corrected version of the solicitation has been updated on SAM.gov.
2. The correct day of the Site Visit is Friday October 24th, 2025 at 8:30AM MT at the same location.
3. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
This project is the replacement of Air-Handling Unit 2 (AHU-2) in Building 85 at the Boise VA Medical Center (BVAMC) in Boise, Idaho. AHU-2 serves as the primary dual-duct air-handling system for Building 85, providing essential conditioned air to the facility. This project involves designing a replacement unit with modern, high-performance equipment to meet current HVAC demands while improving energy efficiency and system reliability testing. The Contractor shall be responsible for all testing and laboratory services include but are not limited to HVAC test and balance. The Contractor shall provide paper and electronic copies of all test reports to the COR in a timely manner.
A formal site visit will be held on Friday, October 24th, 2025 at 8:30am MT, meet inside building 50 conference room.
Proposals must be submitted by email to the Contracting Officer no later than 10:00 AM (MT), Monday, Nov 17, 2025. Proposals submitted by any other means will not be accepted.
Request for Information (RFIs) are to be submitted by email to the Contracting Officer no later than 12:00 PM (MT), November 3, 2025. No other RFIs will be considered unless determined by the Contracting Officer. Contracting Specialist POC: Alan.Perez@va.gov; Contracting Officer (CO): Stephen Slaby, stephen.slaby@va.gov
This requirement is utilizing the following FAR Overhaul sections: 1, 5, 6, 10, 11, 28, 29, 31, 33, 36, 43, 49. Note: Any and all FAR or VAAR clauses listed in supporting documentation, e.g.
specifications, are strictly for reference only and do not supersede, replace, or enhance those clauses or provisions, in full or reference, included in the solicitation or contract. FAR and VAAR clauses or provisions found in the solicitation or contract prevail. The current Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determination for Ada County, Idaho, for "Building" applies at all times to this requirement and is available on SAM.gov. A courtesy copy is included in this solicitation. Any subsequent updates by the Department of Labor supersedes the included courtesy copy, effective the date update is published to SAM.gov. The most recent version at time of award will be applied to the contract.
