Combined Synopsis/Solicitation For Waco, Tx PACS Project Questions and Answers Waco PACS Project

Question 1: Can the VA please provide system IDs so the contractor can accurately propose the Software Support Agreement costs?

Government Response: Please reference Appendix 1, 2, and 3 on the last 2 pages of this document.

Question 2: What is the Access Control software head end?

Government Response: The CCure Headend is at Waco on a virtual server. The Waco OI&T service the server.

Question 3: What is the CCTV software head end?

Government Response: The CCTV is separate from the Current CCURE 9000, It is a standalone system and is not being integrated. The contractor will be bringing the cabling and monitor to a new location as stated in the statement of work.

Question 4: Will the contractor be able to respond to service calls remotely in some circumstances (troubleshooting, etc. if we have VA zero accounts)?

Government Response: No, this is a VA intranet application for internal use only, no outside remote access. Service Calls are to be done onsite/in-person.

Question 5: Will the VA please provide a current list of all equipment at the site?

Government Response: List of equipment needed for this requirement is included in the statement of work.

Question 6: Is there an existing integrator currently maintaining and servicing all of the systems identified in the SOW? If so, please provide the name of the incumbent.

Government Response: Maintenance of the system is not apart of this requirement.

Question 7: Does the Waco VAMC have an existing badging system in place?

Government Response: Yes, reference Appendix 1, 2, and 3 on the last 2 pages of this document.

Question 8: What is the total PIV population identified for the facility?

Government Response: There are less then 500 individuals.

Question 9: Is the site aware of the transition to the version 8.1 PIV credential and associated impacts (i.e. do any users have the 8.1 credential)?

Government Response: Yes, the site is aware. If PIV badges issued after 06-01-2022 are version 8.1 badges. All badges issued before 06-01-2022 are version 7.

Question 10: Is it required that the team have ICAM CSEIP certified staff as part of the proposed team to be able to assist with any troubleshooting and major issues with deployed equipment? Registry of Certified System Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP) – Secure Technology Alliance (securetechalliance.org)

Government Response: Yes, this is required.

Question 11: Is it a requirement that the proposed team has personnel with updated SoftwareHouse certifications and training?

Government Response: Yes, the proposed team needs to have personnel with updated SoftwareHouse certifications and training.

The Offers due date listed in section XV of the Combined Synopsis Solicitation is here by updated to 08-25-2022 @ 14:00 MST.

Offers received that do not comply with the terms and conditions of the solicitation and/or have missing documentation may be considered con-compliant and eliminated from evaluation.
