Text version

1. On page 60-S-500 detail 1 shows to pour new slab on grade. Request detail of RF shield floor as this could create an elevation difference between RM 120 and RM 123. Also shows rebar within the top 6” inches. If this is the case should it be Fiberglass Rebar?

This rebar should not require fiberglass. RF shielding is provided by an RF floor panels and tile as shown in drawing details. Please review the GE drawing set which is now being provided as well as the design drawings. The RF shield is shown laying above the slab and rebar as shown on GE MRI-M145015-PRE-00-A.DWG (side view). The General Notes (Dwg. 60-S-101) calls out anchor bolts and hybrid mortar for use.

1. On page 60-AE-901 door schedule, Door 123A has a comment of being RF shielded. This door is for a closet in MRI room. Request specs of door 123A.

The door type is now called out within the zip file titled “623-C00108 Site Preparation for MRI2 Addendum” on 60-AE-901 which provides specifications for the door and its RF shielding.

1. Request RF electrical filter count needed on RF shield.

Please review GE Preliminary Study now being provided. GE has reviewed vendor drawings for based upon the design drawings. I do not see the requirement as described in the question.

1. Request copy of Vendor provided site equipment drawings.

Vendor Preliminary Report (GE Drawings) for installation is being provided. See document in attachments titled “MRI-M145015-PRE-00-A”
