About this file

This is Amendment 0004 to Solicitation 36C25726R0054, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO17) on January 30, 2026. The amendment extends the proposal submission deadline from February 16, 2026, at 09:00 AM to February 18, 2026, at 09:00 AM CST and provides additional Consolidated Requests for Information (RFI) responses related to the NRM Replace and Correct Building 46 Roof project.

The RFI responses address technical clarifications for roof replacement work on Buildings 34 and 46 at the VA facility in Temple, Texas. Key responses confirm: as-built drawings are available for Building 34 with wood trusses at 24" centers and 5:12 pitch; a new Lightning Protection system is required; one layer of roofing currently exists on Building 34; existing roof drains at Building 46 will be replaced; new gray TPO will be installed on lower ground level roofs with tapered insulation; new copper gutters, downspouts, and flashings are specified for Building 34; two curbed roof penetrations will receive new gravity ventilators; and infrared roof moisture surveys will be provided. The amendment clarifies that materials from the Building 44 project are not acceptable, batten seam copper roofing is not required, no liquidated damages apply, and the upper balcony roof area will serve as an official sitting area without requiring walk pads. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the extended deadline.
