About this file

This document is a set of vendor questions related to an Acid Waste Tank Repair solicitation for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration. The questions and responses cover specific technical details about the project, including:

  1. The ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) level is confirmed as Level 4
  2. The tank volume is approximately 200 gallons
  3. An updated list of daily chemical volumes was provided, which includes:
    • Methanol: 400 mL/day
    • Isopropanol: 20 mL/day
    • Ethanol: 10 mL/day
    • Neutralized formalin: 2500 mL/day

The document indicates that additional information such as a site visit slideshow and a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) with chemical pH levels were attached to the communication, with a note that the tank contents' pH levels would change daily due to fluid discharge.
