About this file
This is a Question and Answer document from a July 17th clarification session for RFQ Solicitation Number 36C25626Q0967, addressing specifications for antimicrobial shelving units being procured by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. The Q&A clarifies critical product specifications: all 41 shelving units (23 stainless steel and 18 antimicrobial polymer) must feature slotted or vented shelves rather than solid or wire shelves, with visual examples provided; solid shelf liners are not required if slotted shelves are used; antimicrobial units are needed for exactly 18 units, not all units; the government will provide the dumpster for waste removal; blueprints and facility photographs beyond those provided for the shelf specifications are unavailable; and labeling will be performed by the government, so vendors should not include labeling services. The Q&A document serves as a binding clarification to the original solicitation requirements.
