About this file
This document is an Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) for a tuckpointing project at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. The ICRA identifies the construction project as Type B, involving small-scale, short-duration work that creates minimal dust on the exterior of the building. It determines the affected patient risk group is low. Using the Infection Control Risk Matrix, the ICRA circles Class II precautions based on the construction type and patient risk. The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number 36C25622R0062 for tuckpointing work at Building 1 of the Overton Brooks VAMC, to be awarded by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration VISN 16.
