About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation 36C25025R0013 regarding non-emergent wheelchair and ambulatory patient transportation services at the Saginaw VA Medical Center. The document addresses four key questions about operational requirements.

The responses clarify that no parking space is available for contractor vehicles, and at least 8 vehicles are required for the contract. The VA cannot provide specific averages for daily patient pick-ups/drop-offs during business or after hours, as volume depends on veteran needs. Transportation services cover the entire top half of Michigan, serving both VA facilities and community care locations across the state. While most appointments are during business hours, some extend beyond regular hours and require extensive drive times due to the large coverage area.
