About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Enhanced Janitorial Services at the Harlingen Mental Health Clinic for the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System. The SOW details comprehensive cleaning and maintenance requirements, including:
Janitorial services involve two day porters performing cleaning duties during and after business hours, with specific requirements for disinfecting high-contact surfaces, cleaning consult rooms twice weekly, cleaning restrooms twice daily, vacuuming carpeted areas three times weekly, and emptying trash twice daily. Exterior maintenance includes year-round landscape management with weekly maintenance during growing seasons, involving watering, weeding, mowing, and debris removal. The Lessor must also implement a waste management program targeting 75% diversion from landfills, maintaining detailed waste records, and providing semi-annual documentation to the VA. The government will handle hazardous waste disposal, while the Lessor manages trash and recycling container areas in compliance with security requirements.
