This document is an Amendment (0001) to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Document Shredding Services issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 in Tampa, FL. The solicitation (RFP 36C24825R0136) is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for document shredding services at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, with a five-year performance period from 09/16/2025 to 09/15/2030.
The amendment makes several key changes to the original RFP, including modifications to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) such as revising the scope of materials to be shredded, updating container labeling requirements, adjusting holiday service provisions, and reducing the phase-in/phase-out plan submission timeline from 10 to 5 business days. The proposal response date remains unchanged at 08/18/2025 at 3:00 PM EST, with the NAICS code 561990 and product service code R614 for paper shredding services.
