For item 1 C- the original question submitted requested that a sketch be provided to show locations of where new wall protection would be required. The response indicates to see attached pictures. The pictures provided do not indicate where wall protection is needed. A sketch/floor plan is needed to identify the areas where required so a proper take off can be completed. The floor plan should also be to scale. – The ground floor sketch is provided. Additional pictures will be provided of the entire space to show the ground floor and the protection on the walls.

For item 1 D – the original questions submitted asked that electrical drawings or sketch be provided, and electrical schedules of components needed be provided. This info is still needed so that a takeoff can be completed. The schedules are provided the contractor is to verify the circuits in the room.

For item 1F, the original question requested info on type and size of tile. The response references a spec that was provided but the spec does not provide this info. We will assume all new tile and grid where required by the scope of work will be basic 2x4 lay in tile as shown in the picture provided. The spec calls for what type of product is required regarding the acoustical ceiling tile.

For item 1 G, the original question asked, what is the existing floor material, where are drains located in room now, how should this be fixed, are we demolishing existing concrete slab in order to build up floor and slope. The response states that “Contractor to verify floor material. Per scope Contractor to demolish epoxy floor to concrete floor”. The pictures provided show an epoxy floor. A close up picture of the drain was also provided as part of the response but we really need the location to be shown on a plan with the sloping requirements shown. The sloping of the floor and whether or not the sloping is to be done with concrete topping or epoxy needs to be clarified. Additional pictures will be provided. Also a sketch with the floor plan. The contractor is to demo down to the existing concrete removing the epoxy. Then they will pour the new epoxy floor. The sloping would be means and methods which should be provided by the contractor.

For item 2 – the original question states “what is the modification that is required? can a drawing or sketch be provided”. This drawing and sketch is needed in order to complete a takeoff of the required plumbing work so that it can be priced. This should show all components, valves, piping, materials, sizes of items, etc… The contractor will provide new piping shutoff valve at the branch location of the pipe. The contractor will verify size of piping.

For item 10, we still need the info that was requested in the original question to be provided in order to price. Info on the required lights are required, new panel schedule, breaker, circuit info is required. Electrical plan showing devices and circuits is required in order to price the electrical work. Panel schedules are provided with pictures.

For item 11, we still need the info and qty of lock out switches and new lights to be provided and still need a lighting schedule so we know what kind of light to price. Are all of the new lights integral to the chutes? Lights are integrated with trash and linen chutes not the acoustical tile and overhead lights.

For item 13 regarding wall protection, we still need the sketch and updated drawings or floor plan showing the locations and types of wall protection required at each area in order to complete a takeoff and to price this work. The drawing should be scaled. Pictures of wall protection has been provided.

For item 14, we need each of the questions to be answered prior to the bid as the phasing requirements will affect our price. Place bid based on phasing provided in scope of work.

For item 15, are we to provide cove base that is 16” tall? What size is the new cove base that is to be provided per the scope of work. Cove base on floors 1 – 10 is 4 inches. Contractor to verify upon bid.

For item 18, response to this question is needed prior to the bid date. The start date of the project begins when the notice to proceed is issued and the project will end 150 calendar days after that; however, time extensions may be granted due to material delivery dates.
