About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the purchase of slit lamps and imaging modules. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 5 is seeking fourteen Zeiss SL800 slit lamps or equal, along with imaging software and modules, to replace aging equipment at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The amendment removes criteria for shock delivery options in the statement of work and clarifies that all quotes received prior to the amendment will still be considered valid. The selected contractor must deliver and install the slit lamps and imaging modules on provided equipment, and fill out enterprise risk assessment documents within 30 days of award. Delivery is required to the Martinsburg VA Medical Center within the agreed upon timeframe.
The key requirements are for Zeiss SL800 quality slit lamps with magnification from 6-40x, white light illumination with filters, and compatibility with an anterior segment camera for imaging capabilities. The imaging system must support Windows 10 and be FIPS compliant if using wireless connectivity. Additional technical requirements include maximum dimensions and power needs. The period of performance will be 12 months for warranty of all hardware and software.
