Christopher Weider Contracting Officer Question 1: Could you please provide information regarding the current or previous contract for this effort.

Answer 1: Please submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to Privacy Officer Dorothy Baker at Dorothy.Baker3@va.gov.

Question 2: Does the Government intend for all breakers to be included, or only those that meet certain size or location criteria?

Answer 2: Brooklyn - All breakers within switchgear rooms shall receive maintenance service and cycling. All breakers in Building 1 electrical closets A, B, C, D, and all breakers in Building 1 ATS rooms shall be inspected and infrared scanned for hot spots/loose connections. All breakers in OPC Electrical rooms and ATS rooms shall be inspected and cycled.

St Albans - All breakers within switchgear and ATS rooms shall receive maintenance service and cycling. All breakers shall be inspected and infrared scanned for hot spots/loose connections. All breakers in Electrical rooms and ATS rooms shall be inspected and cycled.

Question 3: Please confirm the correct circuit breaker maintenance/testing schedule for the 5‑year period so that our work plan, resources, and pricing align with the Government’s intent.

Answer 3: PWS Section 14 Three-year Circuit Breaker Maintenance (Conducted Year 1 & 4 of this contract) correlates with Base year SLINs 0001AC and SLIN 0002AC and option period three SLINs 3001AC and 3002AC.

PWS Section 15 Circuit Breaker, Medium-Voltage (Conducted Year 2, 3 & 5 of this contract) correlates with option period one SLINs 1001AA and 1002AA, option period two SLINs 2001AA and 2002AA, and option period four SLINs 4001AA and 4002AA.

PWS Section 16 Circuit Breakers, Air, Low-Voltage Power (Conducted Year 2, 3 & 5 of this contract) correlates with option period one SLINs 1001AB and 1002AB, option period two SLINs 2001AB and 2002AB, and option period four SLINs 4001AB and 4002AB.

PWS Section 17 Switches, Air, Medium-Voltage, Metal Enclosed is an annual requirement.
