About this file

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for asbestos air monitoring and material sampling services at two Veterans Affairs medical centers in New York. The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks pricing for asbestos air sampling and material testing services to be provided at the Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Centers from April 2024 through March 2029. Services include air monitoring by certified industrial hygienists and technicians, sample analysis by PCM and TEM methods, and material testing of friable and non-friable materials. Quotes are due by March 26, 2024 and shall be submitted electronically. Evaluation criteria include technical capability, past performance, and price. The solicitation is set aside for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and is subject to Service Contract Act wage determinations.
