About this file

This document is an Amendment 0001 to a contract, providing clarifications and updates for a snow shoveling services contract for the VA (Veterans Affairs). The contract covers snow removal services from October 1st through May 31st each year, with a base period starting January 1, 2026, and includes 4 option years. The total contract period spans from 1/01/2026 to 5/31/2030, with varying service months per year (5 months in the base year and 8 months in subsequent years).

Key details include using Cutting Edge Pro Power Melt as the de-icer, with government approval required for any comparable substitutes. The billing will occur monthly based on actual service months, using a revised CLIN (Contract Line Item Number) structure. The wage determination is based on Service Contract Act WD # 2015-4009 Revision #32, and snow shoveling services include areas near Quonset Huts near Building 202. The VA will utilize the VISTA system for contract management, with the unit value on the pricing schedule calculated by year but billed on a monthly basis.
