Deduct Alternate No. 3: Delete Replacement of Exterior Windows. See project drawings for information relevant to the Base Scope of Work. Refer to (but not necessarily limited to) First Floor Demolition Plan 31-AS-106, First Floor Renovation Plan 31-AS-109 and details 5 & 8 / 31-AS-201 and 11 / 31-AS-601. The contractor shall set the storm window sashes in the closed position upon reinstallation and shall secure them closed in a neat manner acceptable to the VAMC.
Associated MEP Scope – Revise Radiant Ceiling Panel sizes for type RP-3 and RP-4 to be 24” wide nominal, 4 tube by 4’-0” long, rated for 1,556 BTUH at 170 AWT. See drawing 31-M-505-DA5. Refer to plan drawings for locations. Shift locations of proposed exhaust grilles in Toilet Rooms 128A and 137A to accommodate longer panel size.
