About this file

This document provides details for a federal construction contract solicitation for the Western New York National Cemetery Phase 1B project. The solicitation seeks bids to develop approximately 30 acres of undeveloped land at the existing national cemetery in Corfu, NY to provide an additional 9,942 gravesites and related infrastructure to support 10 more years of burial services for veterans. Key dates include a June 18, 2021 bid due date, evaluation period from June 21-July 5, contract award by August 31, and a tentative September 15, 2021 notice to proceed. The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and has a cost estimate between $20-50 million. The pre-proposal conference slides provide instruction on submission requirements, acquisition procedures, and an overview of the project scope. Relevant agencies include the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Construction and Facilities Management.
