About this file

This document is an Additional Industry Questions and Answers for federal contract opportunity 36C10B26Q0122, which addresses clarifications regarding a pharmacy staff scheduling software requirement for the Dallas VA Medical Center.

The VA seeks a Software as a Service solution providing both staff schedule automation for routine shift scheduling and on-call scheduling management for 125 users. Services will be performed remotely with primary support at the Dallas VA Medical Center (5 Lancaster Rd, Dallas TX 75216), with potential for remote work locations subject to Contracting Officer's Representative approval. This requirement is specific to Dallas VA Medical Center only; separate solicitations would be required for other pharmacy departments in the North Texas VA Healthcare System. The platform must include competency assessments for managers, supervisors, and schedulers overseeing scheduling functions, as well as for frontline staff completing self-service tasks such as shift bidding, time-off requests, and schedule viewing. There is no incumbent vendor currently providing this service. The VA has no delivery model preference and will evaluate both on-premise and cloud-hosted SaaS solutions equally. Functional requirements are detailed in the "Specific Tasks and Deliverables" section of the underlying Performance Work Statement, with high-level goals outlined in the Scope of Work.
