About this file

This is a Business Request for GRAMA (Government Records Access and Management Act) Business Confidentiality Claim form issued by Salt Lake City Corporation Purchasing & Contracts Management Division for use by contractors and private providers responding to Request for Proposal SLCI27007 for Drone Light Shows. The form allows bidders to identify and protect trade secrets and commercial financial information from public disclosure in accordance with Utah Code sections 63G-2-305 and 63G-2-309. Contractors submitting this form must provide a concise statement of reasons supporting their confidentiality claim and designate specific pages and paragraphs of their proposal materials that contain protected information. The form requires claimant information including company name, address, contact details, and the name of the company representative making the claim.

Submission of this confidentiality claim form does not guarantee that information will receive protected classification if the governmental entity receives a records request. Claimants must indicate whether they are also providing a public redacted copy of the records and specify the reasons for each confidentiality request by page and paragraph number. The form serves as an official mechanism for contractors to assert protection of proprietary information while participating in the competitive bidding process for city-wide drone light show services.
