About this file

This Scope of Work document outlines the contractual responsibilities between the STEM Action Center and a selected contractor for the STEM Education Innovators (SEI) professional learning program in Utah. The program aims to provide educators with personalized, high-quality professional development in STEM education through a teacher certification or endorsement program that emphasizes STEM classroom culture creation. The contractor is responsible for delivering online coursework based on a research-based framework that is competency-based and focuses on STEM classroom cultural components. The Center will facilitate the overarching SEI program for identified participants and integrate the contractor's certification/endorsement coursework into monthly SEI tasks for cohort instruction, discussion, reflection, and task completion. The contractor must provide virtual support to participating educators, communicate regularly with the STEM Action Center SEI program manager regarding participant progress and areas requiring additional cohort instruction, and deliver feedback on educator task submissions to facilitate reflection and improvement.

The document does not contain specific information regarding pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, award dates, response deadlines, or funding sources. The procurement notice indicates that Utah's Division of Purchasing intends to award this contract without engaging in a standard competitive procurement process, suggesting that the contractor may be a sole source provider or that transitional costs make competition impractical. Additional documentation referenced in the Files section would be necessary to understand the complete justification for the non-competitive award and any other salient contractual details.
