About this file

This is a Protected Information Request Form used by the City of West Jordan, Utah, for vendors submitting proposals in response to the West Jordan City Campus Land Use Study procurement. The form requires vendors to identify and clearly describe any specific information for which they claim business confidentiality protection under the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), codified as Utah Code Ann., Subsection 63G-2-101, et seq. Vendors must list all sections where protection is requested and provide adequate detail regarding their confidentiality claims. The form requests the RFP or Bid number, company name, and contact information for the submitting vendor.

The City of West Jordan reserves the right to classify any proposal submitted that does not comply with GRAMA as a public record without further discussion with the vendor. The City may decline to designate information as protected if the vendor uses a blanket confidentiality claim or fails to adequately specify its confidentiality requests with sufficient detail, as determined at the City's sole discretion. This form is a procedural document designed to ensure compliance with state public records requirements while allowing vendors to protect genuinely confidential business information during the proposal evaluation process.
