About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) form for Elevator Maintenance and Inspections services submitted to Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum (JPPM) in Maryland. The project requires contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, parts, and services necessary to perform preventative maintenance on all elevators and lifts at the museum facility located at 10515 Mackall Road, Saint Leonard, Maryland 20685, as well as conduct annual testing and inspections. A mandatory prebid meeting is required, and only contractors who attend will be considered for award. The contract involves comprehensive elevator maintenance and inspection services to ensure operational safety and compliance at the museum facility.
The solicitation includes set-aside preferences for Certified Small Businesses (CBS), including Small Business Reserve (SBR) and Small Business Preference (SBP) designations, as well as Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprises (VSBE). These preferences provide eligible contractors with competitive advantages in the bidding process. The IFB form itself establishes the procedural framework for submission and evaluation of bids, with attendance at the mandatory prebid meeting serving as a prerequisite for bid consideration.
