About this file

This is a Suspension and Debarment Certification document related to LEAD Public Schools' procurement of security camera, access control, wiring, installation, licensing, and commissioning services for a new elementary school campus located at 444 Metroplex Drive in Nashville, Tennessee (Davidson County). The solicitation seeks qualified and authorized Verkada security-system providers to furnish and install a complete turnkey security system encompassing video surveillance, controlled access systems, employee card-reader access integrated with Aiphone intercom equipment, all required cabling and infrastructure, system testing and commissioning, personnel training, and warranty and support services. Proposals were due on November 6, 2026, and the contractor must deliver a fully operational system prior to the school's scheduled occupancy while minimizing disruption to ongoing construction activities.

The certification document establishes the suspension and debarment requirements that must be met by proposing contractors, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to public school procurement. Successful bidders must certify that neither they nor their principals are suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive federal or state funds. This requirement protects LEAD Public Schools by ensuring that only qualified vendors in good standing with government authorities are eligible to perform the security system installation and related services under this contract.
