About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Jefferson County, Colorado, detailing a roof top unit (RTU) replacement project at the Parfet Building located in Lakewood. The project involves removing and replacing 12 existing RTUs on the west side of the building with like-for-like Carrier units, including adapter curbs and i-Vu Plus Building Automation cards. The work will be performed during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.), with coordination required to minimize disruption to building operations. The contractor is responsible for complete removal of existing units, installation of new units, electrical work, ductwork modifications, proper disposal of old equipment, and ensuring full operational functionality.

The project does not specify a precise contract value or explicit funding sources. However, the SOW outlines comprehensive contractor responsibilities including obtaining necessary permits, providing safety measures, coordinating with county representatives, maintaining building access, and providing warranties. The county will provide coordination, site access, storage location, and the i-Vu plus user interface. The project timeline suggests performance in 2025, with the contractor required to complete work to the county representative's satisfaction, subject to final inspection and approval by relevant authorities. A one-year warranty is specified for all work, with potential extended manufacturer warranties on specific equipment.
