About this file

This is a bid schedule form for the City of Indian Wells, California, for the Fire Station No. 55 and City Hall Window and Sliding Glass Door Replacement Project. The project involves the removal and replacement of windows and sliding glass doors at two municipal facilities: seven windows and two sliding glass doors at Fire Station No. 55, and ten windows and two sliding glass doors at City Hall. The bid schedule is organized into six line items, with all items measured as lump sum (LS) quantities of one unit each. These line items include mobilization, permits, submittals, temporary protection and project management for both facilities; removal and replacement work at each location; and testing, warranties, closeout documentation, and final cleanup. Hard copy bid bonds are due November 12, 2026, by 2:00 PM PST. The contractor must be licensed in accordance with California law and shall commence work only upon receipt of the City's Notice to Proceed, with completion required within the timeframe specified in the contract documents.

Bidders are required to submit unit prices for each line item, with the total bid price calculated by the summation of unit prices. In cases of discrepancy between unit prices and item costs, the unit price shall prevail; however, if the unit price is ambiguous or omitted, the item cost column shall be used and divided by the estimated quantity to establish the unit price. Final payment will be determined by the Owner's Representative based on measured quantities of work performed using the established unit prices. Bidders must certify their contractor license number, expiration date, and class of license, and must acknowledge receipt and understanding of all addenda to the contract documents. The bid constitutes a firm offer that cannot be withdrawn for the number of calendar days specified in the Request for Proposals from the bid opening date or until the contract is fully executed, whichever is earlier.
