About this file

This document is a Scope of Work for the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and Division of Air Quality, detailing a procurement for two Xact 625i Ambient Metals Monitoring systems. The invitation for bid (IFB) seeks to acquire two monitoring systems with comprehensive training and installation, to be delivered to the Utah Division of Air Quality in Salt Lake City by February 1, 2026. The procurement will utilize a lowest-cost methodology for contract award, with the vendor required to guarantee pricing for the project's duration. No mandatory site visit is required for this solicitation.

The Xact 625i systems are advanced ambient metals monitoring instruments capable of analyzing up to 44 elements with near real-time reporting intervals ranging from 5 to 240 minutes. The systems feature Windows-based operation, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, automatic quality assurance, and remote system control. The procurement includes two on-site training and installation sessions covering instrument operation, calibration procedures, maintenance protocols, and technical components. The systems operate on 120 VAC or 220 VAC power, can be rack-mounted or used as tabletop units, and are designed for laboratory environments with temperature-controlled settings.
