About this file

This is an Exceptions and Redlines Form for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Independent School District #535 (Rochester Public Schools) in Minnesota for a District Copy Center Production Equipment Replacement and Service Contract. The form provides vendors with a structured process to identify and disclose any requested exceptions, deviations, or proposed changes to the RFP requirements, terms, conditions, or specifications. Vendors must list each exception separately with specific reference to the RFP section number, provide a concise summary of the requirement, clearly describe the requested exception with proposed alternative language, and detail any operational, financial, or contractual impacts. The District stipulates that exceptions not explicitly listed on this form will not be considered and will be deemed accepted as written. Vendors are prohibited from restating content already accepted as written or including pricing-related exceptions unless expressly allowed by the RFP.

The form includes a certification option for vendors taking no exceptions, requiring the authorized representative to sign and date the statement confirming the vendor has reviewed the entire RFP and takes no exceptions to the requirements, terms, or conditions as written. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any exception in whole or in part, determine whether an exception is material, and reject proposals containing exceptions that materially alter the scope, pricing structure, evaluation methodology, or mandatory requirements of the RFP. Submission of this form does not obligate the District to accept any requested exception. Vendors must use this standardized format to ensure fair and consistent evaluation across all proposals submitted for the copy center equipment replacement and service contract.
