About this file

This is an addendum to a Request for Qualifications issued by Murray City, Utah for engineering services related to emergency generator installation at three municipal wells. The addendum, issued on August 26, 2026, modifies the original RFQ 26-29 by extending the proposal closing date from Labor Day to September 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm Mountain Time. The project encompasses the design, bidding, and construction support of emergency backup power systems at three municipal culinary water wells. The solicitation employs a two-phase evaluation process in which Phase I involves independent scoring of Statements of Qualifications by Selection Committee members, followed by identification of the three highest-ranked firms. Phase II consists of interviews and scoring of the shortlisted firms, with final rankings determined by combining Phase I and Phase II scores. If fewer than three qualified firms respond, Murray City will determine the appropriate next steps in accordance with municipal code and applicable federal requirements.

This project is funded in part through a federal EPA Community Grant and is subject to all applicable federal requirements under 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance). Proposing firms must sign and attach the addendum to their submissions. The extension of the closing date was necessitated by the original deadline coinciding with the Labor Day holiday.
