About this file
This document is a Debarment and Suspension Certification form from the Cherokee County School District's Procurement Services Department. The form requires bidders to certify that their company and any potential subcontractors are not debarred, suspended, ineligible, or excluded from contract awards by the U.S. Department of Agriculture or any other Federal, State, or Local Agency. Bidders must immediately notify the school district if they become debarred or placed on the Consolidated List of Debarred, Suspended, and Ineligible Contractors during the bid process or after contract award.
The certification emphasizes the serious nature of debarment and suspension, stating that sanctions are imposed to protect the government's interests in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Bidders who cannot execute this certification will not be considered for an award. The document provides a signature section for a corporate officer to complete, including spaces for the legal name of the bidder, the officer's name, title, and signature, with the last update to the form dated 8/23.
