About this file

This is Amendment 4 to Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) 2CA1644 for the Federal Public Defender's office space in Los Angeles, CA, issued by GSA on February 12, 2025. The amendment removes the maximum number of floors restriction and provides detailed technical specifications for the space.

The amendment specifies ceiling heights must be between 8'6" and 10'0" with 2x2 suspended acoustic ceilings and LED lighting throughout. It requires 26-28 oz carpet tile, painted walls, and vinyl base as standard finishes. Two partition types are specified: Type A (standard drywall with batt insulation) and Type B (slab-to-slab acoustically sealed with STC 45 rating). Security requirements include card readers and cameras at 3 locations per floor. Each typical office must have 5 duplex outlets and 3 data drops (2 inside, 1 in corridor). The amendment maintains priority for window offices and requires the contractor to notify the agency of any spaces not meeting ceiling height requirements during design.
