About this file

This Addendum #3, issued June 29, 2026, modifies the bid documents for the Randall Park Restroom Renovation project (Project #2025-116.10) managed by the City of Cortland in collaboration with Saratoga Associates Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, and Planners, P.C. The addendum addresses two submitted bidder questions regarding electrical specifications and testing requirements. Specifically, the addendum clarifies that a standard 80% breaker load center is acceptable for Panel P1 on drawing E101, rather than requiring a fully rated 100% capacity 400A panel with a 200A breaker frame. Additionally, the addendum specifies that an independent third-party verification is required for installation testing and inspection as indicated in specification section 262416 3.4 C, rather than limiting verification to factory authorized service representatives. The original bid due date was June 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with public opening at 11:10 a.m. Contract award was anticipated for July 2026.

No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbency information, or funding details are contained in this addendum document. The addendum serves solely as a clarification instrument to resolve technical questions from prospective bidders and must be acknowledged on the respective bid form by all bidders.

The following notes, changes, additions, and replacements shall be incorporated into the Project Manual or drawings as applicable:

ITEM 1. Submitted Questions

A. On drawing E101, the 125A MCB for Panel P1 is called out to be fully rated. To achieve this, we need to provide a 400A panel with a 200A breaker frame instead of the referred to PN Series load center. If possible, could you please advise if the MCB truly needs to be 100% fully rated or if a typical load center is acceptable?

• The standard 80% breaker can be used.

B. In spec section 262416 3.4 C, testing and inspection is to be done with a factory authorized service representative. Is this required in the project?

• An independent third party is required to verify the installation as indicated in the specification.

ITEM 2. Additional Information
