About this file
This document is an Attachment D containing Additional Terms and Conditions to an Enterprise Contract for the Florida Department of Management Services, specifically modifying standard contract terms for an Ocean Marine Hull and Open Cargo Insurance solicitation. The document details specific sections of the original Form PUR 1000 and Enterprise Standard Terms and Conditions that are being removed or revised, including definitions of "Customer" and "State Term Contract", and outlines the contract term provisions. The modifications impact sections related to transportation, delivery, packaging, installation, risk of loss, and other standard contractual elements.
The document provides key definitional updates, particularly emphasizing that "Customers" are agencies or eligible users included on the insurance policy, and that only the Department can modify contract or policy terms. The contract term will begin on the date specified in the Contract, with potential renewal options subject to written agreement between the Department and Contractor, in accordance with Florida Statute 287.057(13). The revisions appear to streamline and clarify contractual language, potentially to provide more precise guidelines for the Ocean Marine Insurance procurement process, while maintaining flexibility for contract management and renewal.
