About this file
The document is a Supplemental Qualifications of Bidders file for the Collier County North County Regional Water Treatment Plant (NCRWTP) Nanofiltration System Upgrades project (Bid No. 24-8279) in Florida. The document outlines specific qualification requirements for potential installers bidding on the project, mandating that bidders demonstrate recent experience in membrane system installation and commissioning. Specifically, installers must have installed membrane elements at a minimum of five municipal locations in Florida with a production capacity of at least 3.0 million gallons per day (mgd) within the past five years, and must have fabricated, assembled, and commissioned complete nanofiltration or reverse osmosis membrane trains at a minimum of three municipal locations in the United States with a similar production capacity.
The qualification requirements are designed to ensure that bidders have substantial, recent experience in municipal water treatment system upgrades, particularly in nanofiltration and reverse osmosis technologies. Bidders are required to provide five reference projects of similar magnitude completed in the last five years, which can be used to meet the two primary qualification criteria. These references will be verified by calling the provided references, and bidders must complete Form 5 – Statement of Experience of Bidders to document their qualifications. The stringent requirements aim to select an installer with proven expertise in complex water treatment system installations and upgrades.
