About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Suwannee River Water Management District (the District) for all-hazard debris clean-up services within its approximately 162,000 acres of rural land holdings in north central Florida. The ITB provides a proposed schedule with key dates, including the release of the ITB on July 12, 2024, a mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 17, 2024, a deadline for questions on July 19, 2024, a bid due date of July 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT, a recommendation to the Governing Board on September 10, 2024, and an anticipated contract start date of October 1, 2024. The ITB requires bidders to be licensed and insured, and prohibits the use of subcontractors. All bids must be submitted electronically through DemandStar.

The ITB is seeking to develop contracts with firms available immediately and continuously following all-hazard events, such as hurricanes, to remove debris and make District access safe for use. The District's 30,000 square foot headquarters facility on 12 acres, as well as over 1,700 miles of forest roads, are included in the scope of work. The ITB does not provide any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or other salient commercial information.
